Hours and closures

Your opening hours and your closing days are set once, under Settings, and every part of BookNDish reads them: online orders, the booking form, your Google listing and the guest directory. The Ordering settings and the "Services and tables" tab of Reservations both link here.

Opening hours

Open Settings, "Hours and closures". Each branch has its own card. Tick "Limit to certain hours"; untick it and the branch reads as "Available at any time."

For each day, press "Add hours" and set when you open and close, or fill the week at once with "Lunch and dinner" or "All day". "Copy to weekdays" and "Copy to every day" repeat one day's hours. Add a second window for a split day, such as lunch and dinner. A window that ends before it starts runs past midnight: 19:00 to 02:00 is one evening. A day with no window reads "Closed all day." Press "Save settings" on the branch's card.

What the hours change:

• Online orders: an order placed outside them is held until you open, not refused.
• Bookings: without service shifts, guests can book any time inside your hours. With shifts, the shifts decide, as the Booking setup guide explains.
• Google and the directory: your listing shows the same hours.

When you use booking services, each branch card lists them under "Booking services" and warns when one takes bookings outside the hours, with a link to change it.

Closures and holidays

"Closures and holidays" are the days you are shut on top of your weekly hours: a holiday, a private event, a week off. Press "Add a closure", set "From" and "To" (one date is enough for a single day) and an optional reason, then "Save settings". On those days no order and no booking is taken, the booking form offers no time, and your Google listing shows you closed. Closures apply to every branch; a seasonal pause of your subscription closes its days too.

Bookings taken before you closed a day are listed under "Bookings on days you are closed": "Send message" sends them the text above the list, and "Cancel booking" cancels one and tells the guest.
