Delivery

Delivery is your own fleet: your zones, your drivers and your cash, with no platform commission in the middle. It is part of the Growth and Pro plans. The board is the Dispatch tab of Delivery, under Orders & payments; the roster is its Drivers tab, and the zones its Zones tab.

Switch it on

Delivery is one of the ways to order under Settings, "Ordering": switch it on there, with its delivery fee and its minimum order beside the switch, typed in your currency as on the bill. Until delivery is on, the Dispatch board and the Zones tab say so, with a link to "Ordering", and guests are offered dine-in and pickup only.

Draw the zones

On the Zones tab, press "New zone". Each zone has a name, an "Area outline", a "Delivery fee", "Raise the minimum for this area", a "Typical time (minutes)" and a "Priority": where two outlines overlap, the lower number wins. A zone's minimum can only raise the one set in Ordering, never lower it; leave it empty to use Ordering's. The guest picks their zone at checkout and sees the fee and the minimum before confirming. Without zones, delivery uses the flat fee from your settings.

Add drivers

Under Drivers, add each driver with a name, a vehicle and a cash limit. A driver is Off, Free, Out or on a Break; the board reads that status when it suggests who should take the next run. "Cash limit" and "Carrying" show how much cash a driver may hold and holds now. "Take cash" records the money handed back under "Cash movements". A driver who still carries cash cannot be removed.

Dispatch an order

A delivery order arrives on the board under "Waiting". Press "Assign a driver"; the driver the board thinks is best is marked "Suggested first". Once assigned, the order moves to "On the road" and the driver marks it "Picked up", then delivered. If nobody answers the door, choose "Failed" and answer "What happened?" so the reason is kept with the order.

From pickup, the guest's status page names the driver by first name, as in "Sami is on the way with your order." Nothing else about the driver is shared.

Delivery from the till

The point of sale has a Delivery tab on plans that include delivery. Enter the guest's phone, address, city and zone; the zone's fee is added to the total. See the POS and till guide for the rest of the ticket.

Delivery apps and virtual brands

Under Settings, "Brands", "New brand" lets one kitchen sell under another name, such as a burger concept, with its own guest pages, look and menus. For its store at your delivery aggregator, paste the "Location ID" under "Delivery apps", press "Connect", then "Send menu". Payments, the till and stock stay shared.

Several branches and reports

The board shows the orders of the branch you are working in. Drivers can be attached to a branch or serve any branch. Cash on delivery appears as its own method in the "Sales by payment method" report.
